 | Carsten Stäblein, Chairman of the Management Board Born in Bad Pyrmont, Stäblein first trained for a career in banking and subsequently worked for two years as a loan officer. At the same time, he was studying Economics at the Distance-Teaching University in Hagen. Building on this, he went on to study Business Administration at the Wilhelms University in Münster. After obtaining his MBA he went to work for PreussenElektra, where he performed various functions in the area of Controlling, ending up as deputy head of Accounting and Controlling. After the company merged with E.ON Energie, he worked until 2002 as head of the Controlling department and finally joined the management as Head of Business Management. In 2003 Stäblein joined the management of E.ON Kraftwerke, where he was responsible for Accounting, Finances, Controlling and IT Management. Since 1 April 2007 he has been Chairman of the Management Board of E.ON Energy from Waste. |
 | Detlef Hartmann Born in Lippstadt, Hartmann studied psychology at RWTH Aachen University, majoring in occupational, operational and organisational psychology. After successfully completing his degree, he started his professional career in personnel development at Hamburg Mannheimer Versicherungs AG. From there, Hartmann moved to E.ON AG in Düsseldorf in 2001, where he worked for almost ten years. Initially, he held the position of Vice President HR Development & E.ON Academy. In this function, he founded the E.ON Academy, which is the group-wide learning and development platform. Hartmann built up the respective IT platform and developed partnerships with national and international business schools. One year later, Hartmann took over the responsibility for the group-wide personnel and executive development in the function of Vice President HR Development. In 2007, Hartmann was appointed head of the group-wide integration project OneE.ON and, in this position, was responsible for the group-wide staff survey. In October 2010, he moved from Düsseldorf to E.ON Energy from Waste AG in Helmstedt as Head of Human Resources. Hartmann has been a member of the Board of E.ON Energy from Waste AG since 1 January 2012. He is married and has one daughter. |
 | Dr. Jörg Zunft After leaving school and completing his national service, the Göttingen-born physicist studied Physics in Aachen and Seattle. After graduating successfully, he obtained a PhD in Hamburg in 1994. Zunft then spent six years as a consultant with A. T. Kearney, specialising in the energy supply industry. Among other things he was responsible during this period for the Avacon fusion project – a merger of several energy suppliers to form one of Germany’s biggest regional suppliers (today: E.ON Avacon AG). From there, he moved in 2000 to SAP AG, where he built up and took charge of the Business Consulting division. Since December 2001, Zunft has been a member of the management of E.ON IS GmbH, based in Hanover. Since 1 March 2008 he has been on the management board of E.ON Energy from Waste. He is married with two children. |
