The highly modern incineration plant allows thermal treatment of very high calorific waste from the nearby mechanical biological treatment plant of the waste management company serving the Hannover region.

The plant is designed to handle a broad range of calorific values. It is therefore in a position to thermally utilise both the high calorific fractions from mechanical biological treatment and the normal municipal and commercial waste.
